• "I live with... / I have..." — tells the person your family setup in a friendly way.

• Keep job talk simple: Ken says "an office worker" — not a heavy formal title. Simpler is friendlier, and it avoids the "salaryman" mistake in Chapter 12. 仕事の話は「office worker」のようにシンプルに言いましょう。
• Use "but" to contrast: "I live with my parents, but my sister lives nearby" links two related facts into one natural sentence. 「but」を使うと、2つの事実を自然な一文につなげられます。

• Extend a short answer with "because" or "so" instead of stopping after one fact.

  ❌ Too short: "I have a small dog."

• Use contractions: Say "I'm" instead of "I am". It sounds warmer and friendlier.
