1. Introduction / はじめに

In an English business meeting, you need to share your opinions, agree and disagree politely, ask for clarification, and close the meeting professionally. This activity gives you real practice with all of these skills.

5. Common Mistakes / よくある間違い

Mistake 1: Saying "Yes" when confused

わからないのに「はい」と言うのは避けましょう。

❌ Yes. (confused nod)
✅ Sorry, could you explain that again?
Mistake 4: Direct "No" / 直接「No」と言う

直接的な否定はプロらしくありません。やわらげ表現を使いましょう。

❌ No, I don't agree.
✅ I see your point, but I have a slightly different view.
Mistake 5: Forgetting action items / 決定事項を確認しない

会議を終える前に必ず決定事項を確認しましょう。
