Section 3 — Naturalness Tips: 4 Before & After Comparisons
▼
- ❌ "I am organized." → ✅ "I'm very organized. I make a schedule every morning and I always finish my work on time — even when things get busy."
- ❌ "My strength is teamwork." → ✅ "I work really well in teams. I like sharing ideas and I always try to help when someone is stuck or behind." 「
- ❌ "I solve problems." → ✅ "I'm good at problem-solving. I stay calm under pressure and think of practical solutions — even when the situation is difficult."
- ❌ "I am good at communication." → ✅ "I'm good at communication. I listen carefully and I can explain complicated things in a simple way. People tell me this is very helpful."

Section 4 — 5 Common Mistakes to Avoid
▼
- Mistake 1 — Too vague: ❌ "I'm good at many things." → ✅ "I'm especially strong in problem-solving and communication." Be specific. Pick one or two strengths.
- Mistake 2 — Too proud: ❌ "I'm the best. No one else can do what I do." → ✅ "I'm confident my skills in this area can really add value to your team." Balance confidence with humility.
- Mistake 3 — No example: ❌ "One of my strengths is leadership." → ✅ Add: "For example, I led a project team of five people last year. We finished two weeks ahead of schedule."
- Mistake 4 — Wrong match for job: ❌ (For an office role): "My strength is physical stamina." → ✅ "My strength is organization and time management." Choose strengths that match the job.
- Mistake 5 — Direct Japanese translation: ❌ "I have a strong heart." (direct translation of 根性) → ✅ "I'm very resilient. I don't give up easily, even when things are difficult." Think in meaning, not words. I have a strong heart"と直訳しても通じません。"resilience"や"I don't give up easily"が自然な英語表現です。
