Talking about your daily routine is one of the most natural ways to connect with people in English. It helps others understand your life, your habits, and your personality — and it comes up constantly in self-introductions, small talk, language exchanges, and interviews.

When will you use this? / いつ使う場面があるの?

  • Small talk: 職場や学校で「最近どう?」と聞かれたとき。
  • New friendships: 新しい友達やペンパルと自分の生活を共有するとき。

Structure your answer in three parts — morning, daytime, and evening — using the simple present tense:

7. Common Mistakes / よくある間違い

Listing too much detail

細かすぎる行動を全部並べない。大事なことを2〜3個選びましょう。

❌ "I wake up, wash my face, brush my teeth, get dressed..."

Wrong tense

ルーティンには進行形ではなく現在形を使いましょう。

❌ "I am waking up at 7."

Forgetting time words

「朝は」「7時ごろ」など時間の言葉を忘れずに。
